“My wife, 1 year old daughter, and I spent two nights at Finca Rosa October 2009 and loved it. Besides the obvious qualities, such as great rooms with character, excellent service, comfy beds, good food, the staff went WAY beyond expectations in making our stay perfect. When our car trunk broke, they took it into town to be fixed by one of the bell person’s friends. We kept our baby on east coast time; the restaurant had no problem serving us their delicious 3-course meal at 4:30! And, the people in the stables happily took my little girl on a ride on a horse one morning.”

“I needed a little R&R since I'm caring for a loved one with cancer. My daughter found Finca Rosa Blanca on the Internet -- searching for a sustainable, yet upscale hotel. We were both so very pleased and surprised to find this lovely spot. The staff were energetic and friendly. The food was delicious - local and some grown on the grounds. The rooms are the most unusual in that there was so much personal attention given to each one. The art collection of the owner makes you feel like you're in someone's home. The pool is beautiful and clean water (no chlorine). We bird watched with a guide on the grounds ando fund him to be knowledgeable and delightful. I would definitely go back again when in Costa Rica. The 4 days was just what I needed to refresh.”

“Traveling with six people, two of whom are teenager girls, is not always easy, but Finca Rosa Blanca made six different personalities extremely happy. The inn allowed us to order in pizzas the night we arrived, they set up a private dining area for us, provided all needed items and did not ask for a thing in return. The property does not allow meals in the rooms as they are a pesticide free property, but this is not a problem. The breakfasts offered feature both native fare and "American" fare, and are not to be missed. The dinner menu has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices; all are wonderful. This truly is a property which will delight any member of your group and provide a wonderful taste of Costa Rican hospitality and beauty.”

“Four our family's recent Costa Rica vacation (the group was me, my wife and our 4 children, ages 16, 15, 12 and 8), our travel agent had us spend our first night after arriving and our last night before departing at Finca Rosa Blanca. And she was absolutely right to do so! The restaurant in the hotel is also outstanding, and serves a surprisingly sophisticated, almost nouvelle cuisine type of fare, making full use of the native fruits and vegetables. They also have a kids' menu for the picky eaters in the crowd.”
